Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #9 (COURSE CORRECTION) (2-1) - This lightly raced son of 'Lemon Drop Kid' has been competitive in both starts at this level. He missed by a 'head' when debuting at Keeneland April 7, then tired late when checking in a close up 4th May 6 at Belmont. Working fine locally for leading trainer Chad Brown, the only negative is the outside post in this 11-furlong contest as it starts on the far turn.
2nd pick: #5 (Midnight Tea Time) (3-1) - One of two entered by trainer Graham Motion, and they race uncoupled. Competitive in three straight at this level, he enters off a career-best figure July 5 at Belmont. A major player in this one.
3rd pick: #2 (Prompt) (4-1) - He came up empty late as the favorite when finishing 4th at this level going 10 furlongs at Belmont July 5. He had just missed in his previous attempt, draws well today, has more early speed than most, and is in the win mix.
4th pick: #1 (Hampton Point) (12-1) - Longshot raced evenly in the same July 5 contest at Belmont common to several others. Improving, well-bred, has the rail, and races with blinkers on. I think he'll factor at a very big price.
