2nd pick: #1 (Moondance Joy) (5-1) - Consistent filly goes dirt to turf after rallying to win a six-furlong contest June 30 on Belmont's main track. She missed by a 'neck' there on the grass in her previous race and draws a fine post to save ground from. 4yo is a threat from off the pace.
3rd pick: #5 (Startwithsilver) (3-1) - Grey filly is lightly raced and is from a winning barn (Linda Rice). 3yo raced wide and was beaten almost three lengths at this level on the Belmont dirt June 16. Her best race came on the grass there May 21 when she rallied to defeat 'Animal Appeal' by a 1/2-length. Dangerous today back on the turf.
