Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (MORE THAN KISSES) (7-2) - Speedy filly has been sharp in both starts at Belmont. Daughter of 'More Than Ready' had to be sent hard from inside posts in both and weakened late in each after being involved in pace duels. She's working above average, and the move out in the gate is a big plus.
2nd pick: #3 (Llanita) (4-1) - One of two entered by trainer Chad Brown, and the pair race as separate betting interests. Strong finisher was stakes placed last year and has been competitive in all five starts in N. America since English bred was imported last fall. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Sassy Little Lila) (10-1) - Longshot is stretching out in distance in her second start. She ran very wide in her debut at Belmont going seven furlongs June 19, but finished just back of both 'More Than Kises' and 'Llanita.' Dangerous at a big price.
4th pick: #7 (Tapit Together) (12-1) - No speed type has rallied from far back to finish very close up in three straight starts at this level racing out of town. Home bred by 'Tapit' would love a fast and/or contested pace to develop to help her late running style out.
5th pick: #2 (Church Social) (4-1) - $350,000 daughter of 'Pulpit' has raced well in both starts and has been freshened up since May 13. Can factor if she doesn't get shuffled back in this big field heading into the first turn.
