4th pick: #3 (Fire Ship) (3-1) - Improving filly has fine early speed, and last out tired late after setting a quick & pressured pace. That was a sharp try and this daughter of "Colonel John" must be left in the mix.
5th pick: #10 (Kevin's Steel) (12-1) - Even paced type showed some improvement in her latest in what was her third back off a series of layoffs. It's nice to see this mare by grass turf specialist "Artie Schiller" stringing starts together, and she may grab a share at long odds.
