Top pick: #1 (ALL RISE) (3-1) - Lightly raced and well bred, $400K son of 'Mineshaft' raced wide before making a solid bid here at this tag and trip July 31. Working nicely since, Lasix is added, and colt breaks from the rail. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Captain Tim) (5-1) - He raced both wide and evenly in the same last race as 'All Rise.' He had a tough outside post and was 'bumped' hard right after the start. He's worked twice since, draws better, and is making back-to-back starts for the first time.
3rd pick: #5 (Godrevy) (8-1) - Another out of the same July 25 contest, he raced a bit greenly in his first ever around two turns. Nicely bred, he's worked twice since, and Castellano is back on the re-ride.
4th pick: #6 (Sharm) (12-1) - Lont time maiden has gone 13-0-2-5 racing on the dirt, and he ran 2nd here at this level going seven furlongs July 31. He ran evenly in a follow up start on the grass and did so from a very tough post (12th of 12). Can grab a share at a big price.
