2nd pick: #7 (Kitten by the Sea) (4-1) - She missed by a 'neck' here at this level and distance July 23 in her first off a rare Todd Pletcher claim, followed by a bit more than a five-month break. This 4yo by 'Kitten's Joy' has a flexible style and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Joyous Times) (6-1) - Another filly by 'Kitten's Joy,' she missed by a 'neck' here at this level and distance July 23 while a 'nose' in front of 'Kitten by the Sea.' Consistent sort, she's one of a trio of 3yos taking on their elders.
4th pick: #5 (Bareeqa) (10-1) - This old-timer raced evenly when finishing around four lengths behind both 'Kitten by the Sea' and 'Joyous Times' here July 23. The longshot has won 12 times on the grass and has done so three times at the Spa. She's capable of factoring at a big price.
5th pick: #9 (Balon Rose) (7-2) - This daughter of 'War Front' sold for $1,600,000 as a yearling back in Sept. of 2017. She's racing third back off a six-month layoff and ran well in the local July 23 contest common to several others entered. A contender, but her outside post means she'll need to work out a trip in his large field.
