He seems to thrive on keeping busy and is making his 10th start of 2017. Competitive in most, he gets a slight edge in a competitive race.
2nd pick: #8 (Meantime) (2-1) - One of several lightly-raced 3-year-olds entered, he has good early speed and is racing for the first time since tiring badly in the Belmont Stakes (G1) June 10. Competitive in all four prior to that, he's working fast and is a threat if ready.
3rd pick: #1a (Monaco) (9-2) - Son of 'Uncle Mo' sold for a whopping $1,300,000 as as a 2-year-old in training in March of 2016. He was sharp in a pair early in the year in Florida, but has raced poorly in both outings since then. Freshened up since May 21, he's working sharply and is from the barn of Todd Pletcher.
4th pick: #3 (Wine Not) (12-1) - Longshot enters in good form and will be breaking from the rail. Consistent sort moves way up in class, but his stalking style and inside draw can lead to him getting a share at a very big price.
