Top pick: #4 (HOW DO I WIN) - The probable favorite finished third here in his debut and did so after being "brushed" at the start. Grey colt from the first crop of "Corinthian" chased a fast pace and weakened slightly in that contest and the leading trainer at this meet (Todd Pletcher) adds blinkers (a 25% winning angle) and wins at a 29% clip second-time out. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Moonrush) - $325,000 son of "Malibu Moon" returns to the maiden ranks after tiring badly after a slow start in the G2 Sanford S. here July 24. In his prior start he ran second at this level and distance at Churchill. "Hall of Fame" trainer Wayne Lukas has had him work twice for this and colt is a stretch threat.
3rd pick: #1 (Superstructure) - Debuting son of the speedy "Henny Hughes" has been here for the past month after initially training at both Keeneland and Churchill. Has the rail and trainer Eddie Kenneally is having a good meet so far (10-2-1-2).
