4th pick: #9 (Pop a Choc) (7-2) - This filly was a visually impressive maiden winner going seven furlongs at Belmont July 9. It was her first race since April 19, her first on the dirt, and it earned this daughter of 'Bernardini' a big figure. The $330K purchase draws well, and John Velazquez stays aboard.
5th pick: #8 (Palio Flag) (5-1) - She rallied from close range to win her debut by a 'neck' at Keeneland traveling seven furlongs July 9. Well-bred, she obviously has talent, and this $350K daughter of 'Curlin' must be left in the mix.
