Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (MO DEAN) (7-5) - Well-backed in her debut (3-1), this $575,000 daughter of 'Uncle Mo' rallied from far back to miss by a 'neck' here going six furlongs Aug. 2. Trainer Chad Brown wins at a strong 35% rate second time out and this filly should benefit from the added furlong she travels today.
2nd pick: #9 (Leia Marie) (5-1) - This grey filly raced evenly debuting here in a grass sprint Aug. 7. The $400,000 purchase switches to the dirt, stretches out in distance, has blinkers on, and draws a fine outside post. Dangerous today.
3rd pick: #2 (Jane Grey) (8-1) - One of two first-time-starters from Bill Mott, she's a Godolphin homebred by 'Into Mischief.' She enters off a bullet half-mile on the local training track in 47.60 and Mott's main rider, Junior Alvarado, is aboard.
4th pick: #6 (Bernie Question) (10-1) - The second of the Mott fillies, she's by 'Bernardin' and has been in steady training here since mid-July. Her dam has had all five previous foals win and she can factor if ready.
