Top pick: #2 (CURRENCY UNION) (6-1) - Price play has gone 6-2-2-0 this year and comes off a sharp looking win here going 7 furlongs on Aug. 14. That was a career best overall, and filly proved that day that she doesn't need the front to win.
2nd pick: #6 (My Sparky) (7-2) - Stalker rallied into a fast pace to finish second here at this trip in an entry-level allowance on Aug. 5. Mare draws a nice post to track the speed from and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Pow Wow Wow) (5-2) - Speedy Marylou Whitney home-bred tired here last out at this level after chasing a very strong pace. Trainer Nick Zito adds blinkers and I expect this filly to be sent hard from the start.
4th pick: #1 (D'princess) (4-1) - Very fast from the gate, five-time winner draws the rail and runs off a two-month freshening. More than capable if she outruns "Wow Wow" for the early lead.
