2nd pick: #2 (Catholic Cowboy) (10-1) - Longshot is one of two multiple winners signed on and he enters off a career best figure when he won a mile race at Belmont July 9th facing upper-end starter-allowance foes.
3rd pick: #4 (Grand Strand) (8-1) - Colt by "Tiznow" moves way up in class after a sharp maiden win at Belmont going 7-furlongs at Belmont on July 10th. It was his first in almost two months and he was claimed that day by Rudy Rodriguez for $65K. New trainer wins at a 31% rate first off the claim and he's picked up some momentum here after a slow start.
4th pick: #6 (Ojos ge Hielo) (12-1) - Clearly the main speed, he hasn't raced since Nov. 1, but has run well off of breaks in the past. Midwest regular Larry Rivelli has already won a race at this meet and this 5-year-old Texas bred will take them as far as he can.
