2nd pick: #4 (My Bronx Tale) (5-2) - She set a solid pace and held strongly to miss by a 1/2 length July 7 at Belmont racing at this level going 6.5 furlongs. It was her first start in 11.5 months and first off a trainer change to Michelle Nevin. She's worked here three times since and is strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Katama Moonlight) (4-1) - A $400,000 daughter of 'Malibu Moon', she's racing for the first time since debuting Dec. 9 at Aqueduct. She did not break running from her rail post, but rallied while wide to finish third of nine, beaten 3.5 lengths. Leading trainer Chad Brown has her working sharply here and she's a win threat if ready.
4th pick: #7 (Comic) (6-1) - A home bred by 'Distorted Humor', she's one of two making their debuts. Her latest thre local works are on the quick side and it's noted that leading rider Jose Ortiz is aboard. When teamed up with trainer Rodolphe Brisset, the pair have won with 7-of-33 (24%) in 2018-19.
