Castellano aboard for the first time.
2nd pick: #9 (Donnatiene) (3-1) - Dangerous filly is very lightly-raced and is making back-to-back starts for the first time. She raced wide and evenly here following a bobbling break in her first since missing by a 'neck' when debuting on this course a year ago. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Bella Joy) (5-1) - Filly has some early speed and is breaking from the rail. Daughter of 'Kitten's Joy' rallied to finish 4th of 12, beaten a length going 7-furlongs on the Belmont lawn July 8. She's set for a big race at a square price.
4th pick: #6 (J C's Shooting Star) (8-1) - She exits the same last race as 'Donnatiene' here July 29. Filly had some traffic issuers at the start, then raced both wide and evenly while finishing a 1/2 length better than that rival. It was her first on the turf and a positive outing. In the mix.
