Top pick: #5 (MASTER) - Son of "Mr. Greeley" drops into a claimer for the first time and goes dirt to turf (a surface he's already run well on). Trainer (John Terranova) is strong on the drop (43%) and on the switch in footing (25%). The top selection.
2nd pick: #4 (Counterspy) - He hasn't raced in almost 11 months, but is training sharply for a top barn (Wesley Ward) and this gelding by "Hennessy" ran well here last season. Contender.
3rd pick: #9 (Little Alex) - He had no chance in his debut sprinting on the Delaware dirt as he had a very rough trip. Drops into a claimer, goes dirt to turf, and he gets Dominguez. Colt's trainer (Steve Klesaris) wins at a 31% clip second time out and the trainer/jockey team is a strong one (24%).
4th pick: #6 (Interragatory) - Lightly raced and improving he finished a pace-chasing fourth last out at Belmont. Shortens-up for this and he's a contender.
