Top pick: #5 (JUMP FOR KITTEN) - Home-bred colt by "Kitten's Joy" showed excellent early speed before tiring when debuting at Belmont Park in late May. Runs today off a 2 1/2 month break and Dominguez will take over.
2nd pick: #4 (SAYAAD) - Colt by "Street Sense" cost $450,000 and showed fine speed before weakening when debuting on the main-track at Belmont five weeks ago. Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin (27% second time out) switches him to the grass and it's a surface he was bred to like.
3rd pick: #7 (Asunder) - First time starter by "Stormy Atlantic" has been working fast at trainer Graham Motion's home-base of Fair Hill. Barn is capable first time out and its the trainer (Motion), rider (John Velazquez), and owner (Team Valor), that won the 2011 Kentucky Derby with "Animal Kingdom".
