Top pick: #5 (JUNG MAN SCOTT) - Son of "Freud" moves to the turf for his second start after chasing a fast pace and a runaway wire-to-wire winner in his debut. Nice turf drill on July 29 and all things seem in place for his maiden win.
2nd pick: #10 (N B Ravens) - Much improved run in his second start when his trainer (Dave Donk) sent him to the turf. Breaking from an inside post he was sent hard and weakened in the last furlong. Move to an outside slot is a big plus.
3rd pick: #11 (Lord Jet) - Finger Lakes shipper needs a pair of scratches to compete, but if he runs must be considered an exotics threat. Working fast, in a good barn (Dan Conway), and his rider makes the trip with him.
4th pick: #1 (Wanna Play) - He raced evenly in his debut and finished seven lengths behind the top selection. Has a trio of fine drills since, including a pair on the grass. Contender, but the rail draw is "tricky" here.
