2nd pick: #1 (T R Crew) (3-1) - Son of 'Uncle Mo' has good gate speed and breaks from the rail. Colt has finished second in two of his last three starts and did so here at this level and distance Aug 5. Three-year-old breezed a bullet half-mile at Belmont Aug 26 and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Butler Field) (7-2) - $450,000 son of 'Malibu Moon' is switching from grass to dirt for the first time. Colt has raced evenly in a pair on the turf and has a fine series of works here on the dirt. Leading trainer Chad Brown wins at a solid 36% rate on the turf to dirt angle.
4th pick: #2 (Magician Man) (5-1) - Colt recovered to finish a rallying third here going seven furlongs July 29. He was bumped at the break and was forced to race widest. $300K purchase was just under a length in back of 'Singleton' that afternoon and has worked fast since. Longshot possibilities.
