Premium Pick

Top pick: #7 (FEDERAL AGENT) (4-1) - Lightly-raced home-bred son of "Curlin" has been freshened up since finishing a troubled third at Belmont on May 31st racing at this level going 10 furlongs. Colt has been competitive il all four turf starts and has been training locally since late May. Gets the call in a wide open contest.

2nd pick: #2 (Parnelli) (5-1) - Darley owned colt by "Bedrnardini" cost $300K and has run well in three of his four grass attempts. He has a pair of quick local works on view and trainer Kiaran McLaughlin will add lasix for the first time, a strong 31% move by the barn.

3rd pick: #6 (Unitarian) (5-2) - Home-bred has gone 3-0-2-1 since trainer Todd Pletcher switched him to the turf and son of "Pulpit" will race with blinkers on for the first time. Obvious win candidate, but may be over-bet a bit.

4th pick: #5 (Tiz Nasty) (12-1) - Longshot finished 4th of 10, beaten 8 1/2 lengths when debuting at Delaware in a switched race on July 1st. Bred to love both the grass and this distance, colt by "Tiznow" can impact for a barn (Graham Motion) that's off to a good start at the meet.
