Top pick: #1 (HAPPY INSIDE) - She's part of an entry with #1a "Nodebtdanny" as both have different trainers but have common ownership. Filly stalked, bid, and tired when debuting at Delaware facing special weights on July 4th. She's since come back with a near bullet half-mile work there 9 days ago and trainer Tony Dutrow (31% 2nd time out) will drop her into a claimer and has Dominguez signed on.
2nd pick: #4 (Shrinking Violet) - One of a pair of fillies entered by trainer Wesley Ward and they race uncoupled. Well-bet in each appearance, she finished third when debuting at Hollywood Park on May 5th, then tired after showing excellent early speed when facing males at Churchill three weeks later. Freshened-up for this, she has a pair of fine back-to-back local works and jockey Elvis Trujillo who's in for a stakes later on the card picks up the mount.
3rd pick: #3 (Queen Nine) - The second of the Ward duo, she finished third of six, beaten two lengths when debuting at Churchill May 25th. Working well for this attempt and daughter of the speedy "Henny Hughes" must be left in the mix.
