Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (BAIL OUT) (5-2) - From the Phipps stable, this 4yo by 'Blame' has finished second in both starts this year with each coming at this level going 9 furlongs. Freshened up since missing by a 1/2 length at Churchill Downs May 19, he's training steadily and should love the additional two furlongs he travels today.
2nd pick: #6 (Shennan) (7-2) - A lightly raced Irish import, he finished second in both starts in his native land with each coming at a mile facing large fields. Latest came when he missed by just under a length at Gowran Park against 14 foes May 8. Training aove average and trainer Mark Casse has Irad Ortiz Jr aboard.
3rd pick: #5 (Better Tapit) (5-1) - Well backed in both starts, this home bred by 'Tapit' missed by just under 2 lengths going 10 furlongs at Belmont July 3. He's had inside draws in his first pair and the move out in the gate is a plus.
4th pick: #1 (Tide of the Sea) (3-1) - Juddmonte home bred missed by a 'head' going 10 furlongs at Belmont May 9 in a big move forward off his Aqueduct debut April 7. He has the rail and this contest starts just off the far turn which should lead to a ground saving trip. He must be left in the mix.
