2nd pick: #5 (Samian) (10-1) - Price play showed good early speed before tiring when debuting at this level and distance at Churchill Downs on April 30th. Another daughter of "Dynaformer," she has a new trainer today (George Weaver 33% with new arrivals) and she had a sharp half-mile gate breeze on the training track grass course on July 15th.
3rd pick: #8 (Industrial Policy) (3-1) - Freshened up since May 2nd, trainer Chad Brown moves her back up in class after she missed by a head at Belmont when racing for a $65K tag. That was a career best and was her first ever on the turf.
4th pick: #7 (Forever Road) (8-1) - Lightly-raced filly by "Bellamy Road" stretches out in distance and is making back-to-back starts for the first time. Last out at Belmont she finished an even third going 7 furlongs in her first since debuting here last August. She has a blazing 5-furlong drill on July 12th and looks set for a big effort.
