Top pick: #11 (MONGOL BOSS) (9-5) - The probable favorite, lightly-raced gelding by "Street Boss" missed by a neck last out at Belmont at this level going 7 furlongs. Race was his first in two months and trainer Mike Maker brings him back in 24 days and shortens him up in distance. Draws a tough post, so make sure you reverse your exactas.

2nd pick: #1 (Filberto) (12-1) - Longshot is one of two entered by trainer Andy Mitchell and the pair race uncoupled. Colt has excellent early speed, draws the rail, and is has been working very fast at Monmouth for his first since Jan. 16 at Gulfstream. Very dangerous.

3rd pick: #2 (Pacific Theater) (4-1) - Son of "War Front" has been freshened up since the spring when he was competitive in both grass races. Working both steadily and above average, and he's from the fine barn of Chris Clement.

4th pick: #5 (Boardwalk Baron) (15-1) - Price play had a difficult inside post when debuting at Belmont in the same June 28th race when "Mongol" just missed. He's worked fast since, moves off the rail, and can factor at anticipated long odds.
