Top pick: #3 (MUMTAAZAH) (5-2) - Daughter of "Tapit" cost $525K as a yearling back in Sept. of 2012. She finished a promising second when debuting last Nov. at Aqueduct and hasn't raced since. That was a strong field and she can take this if ready.
2nd pick: #4 (Magsamelia) (5-1) - The proven early speed in a field that is very light on experience. Daughter of "Mineshaft" finished third here when debuting a year ago and enters off a pair of pace-setting second-place finishes at the recently concluded Belmont meet.
3rd pick: #2 (Judy Legend) (7-2) - Home bred my "Medaglia d'Oro" rallied while extremely wide to miss by a length when debuting in late October on the Keeneland "poly." On the sidelines since, she's from a very good barn (Graham Motion) and he adds lasix (a 30% winning angle).
4th pick: #7 (Premura) (6-1) - Nicely bred filly finished second here when debuting on Sept. 1st last year, but did not do as well in a pair of subsequent starts. Working fast for her first since early Nov. and a threat if ready.
