Top pick: #3 (JUDY LEGEND) (7-2) - Home bred by "Medaglia d'Oro" ran well here on July 18th in her first since debuting last October at Keeneland. Trainer Graham Motion is having an outstanding meet, adds blinkers (20%), and has her making back-to-back starts for the first time.
2nd pick: #1 (Running Wild) (2-1) - She exits the same July 18th race as "Judy" and was a bit over a length in front of that rival at the finish. She's worked three times since, is in another hot barn (Jimmy Jerkens), and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Trautman) (10-1) - Longshot is working nicely for her first since late Sept. at Belmont. Her lone dirt race was acceptable and a bullet three furlong breeze here Aug. 6 suggests her readiness.
4th pick: #7 (Austa) (5-2) - Home bred is one of three debuting fillies and has been in steady training here since late June. In the Pletcher barn (22% first out) and Castellano's presence is duly noted.
