Strong finisher has his share of physical woes and his career is loaded with layoffs of varying lengths. Working very fast, he has the rail and shortens up in distance. The top pick, but make sure you box your exactas with him.
2nd pick: #9 (Love Your Buttons) (5-1) - Colt had traffic issues at the break before rallying to finish fourth at this level going seven furlongs at Belmont July 2 in what was his grass debut. He draws a nice outside post and it's Eric Cancel of and Javier Castellano on.
3rd pick: #7 (Shidoshi) (15-1) - Lightly-raced colt is dropping in price while shortening up in distance. Very wide at Belmont going a mile for a $75K tag July 8, he worked a sharp three furlongs Aug. 6 and may impact at a big price.
4th pick: #4 (Stun) (6-1) - Speedy sort ships from Florida where he's been competitive in five of his last six starts on the Gulfstream turf. May hold down a share, but he'll need to step it up for anything more than a minor award.
