Top pick: #6 (BLACK RHINO) - Lightly-raced gelding rallied to finish third here in a turf sprint facing tougher on July 23rd. Trainer Wesley Ward will drop him in price and move him to the main-track. He's run well on the dirt in the past and the only negative is the rider (apprentice Davis) who has never ridden in a race before.
2nd pick: #5 (Itsnottheright) - Very consistent three year old is (6-3-1-2) overall and all his wins have come at Churchill Downs. Runs today first off a Bruce Levine claim (22%) and gelding has a pair of fine local works showing.
3rd pick: #7 (Classic R and B) - He goes turf to dirt and shortens-up in distance for trainer Gary Gullo. Interesting to see Dominguez aboard as he's won with three of six for Gullo over the past 19 months.
