Top pick: #2 (QUICK TO CHARM) - Probable favorite absolutely loves the turf (13-6-1-3) and has won here before. Well-bred, he's proven to be another astute claim by trainer Mike Maker and this son of "Smart Strike" is at the right level and distance. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Big Stick) - Veteran "whistled" last out at Belmont when he was dropped under $25,000 for the first time in his career. Speed/stalker has won here in the past and this hard-hitter has beaten better and always comes to run. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Keeping the Honor) - He's one of a pair entered by trainer Rick Dutrow and they'll race uncoupled. Gelding by "Tapit" drops down again to $25,000 and he's finished second at the price the last two times he raced for it. Has good tactical speed and is a threat.
4th pick: #10 (Pictural) - The second of the Dutrow pair has never won the grass (8-0-2-0) but all those attempts came facing much tougher. Has good early speed and his working nicely since his last race when he "bobbled" at the start of the "Suburban H."(G2).
