Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #9 (SUGAR REEF) (4-1) - Lightly-raced filly enters off a pair of wide and even efforts at Belmont Park in her first two starts. Trainer Chris Clement is adding blinkers (23% winning angle) and this $250,000 daughter of 'Tizway' worked a solid half-mile at Belmont July 26 before coming here.

nd pick: #1 (Alabama Bound) (3-1) - Speedy filly breaks from the rail and has lost by a 'head' and a 'neck' in her last two starts at Belmont. They came off a six month layoff and both were at this level and distance. Win candidate, she should be involved from gate-to-wire.

rd pick: #4 (Talkn Til Midnight) (9-2) - $180,000 daughter of 'Broken Vow'has raced evenly in all three starts. She has a bit of early speed and stretches back out following a seven furlong contest at Belmont July 10. Jose Ortiz is back on the re-ride and when combined with trainer Linda Rice the pair has won 53 of 201 (27%) over the past 19 months.

th pick: #8 (Moonshine Cate) (7-2) - The small operation of trainer Roy Lerman usually wins one or two at this meet and has been doing so for the past 35 years. This lightly-raced home bred has a good closing kick and enters off a troubled effort going seven furlongs at Belmont July 10. Only her second start, her first came here last Sept 7 when she rallied while wide to check in third at this level and distance. Must be left in the mix.

th pick: #3 (Catch Your Dreams) - Filly makes her debut at a difficult distance for a first-time starter. However, she's bred for the grass, is working above average, and Hall of Fame trainer Jonathan Sheppard has Irad Ortiz Jr. aloft.
