Premium Pick

Top pick: #8 (ALDRIN) (7-5) - There's been some morning talk that this son of "Malibu Moon" has some talent, and his work tab includes several extremely quick breezes. He cost a cool $1,000,000 this past April as a 2yo in training and is in the very capable barn of Chad Brown.

2nd pick: #4 (Bayerd) (6-1) - Son of one of my favorite stallions "Speightstown" has some fine works showing, and trainer Steve Asmussen has already sent out some sharp debuting juveniles at this young meeting.

3rd pick: #5 (Captain Moss) (8-1) - Barn (Nick Zito) is not known for first out success, but this $100k son of "Quality Road" has been in serious training here since late May. His latest breeze, a bullet half-mile (best of 41) on the local training track 10 days ago, suggests he may factor at a square price.

4th pick: #3 (Today's Agenda) (5-1) - Grey colt had a fine get acquainted breeze here on July 20 after initially being prepared at Fair Hill in Maryland. Good barn (Tony Dutrow) has already had a pair of wins at this meet and has J.J.Castellano aboard this Pa-bred.
