Ramsey owned gelding can add another win to their record setting meet.
2nd pick: #2 (Saginaw) (7-5) - He's what racing is all about. New York-bred wonder has won 15-of-19 starts over the past 18 months and enters this seeking his sixth win in a row. Veteran gelding is 3-for-4 at this "tricky" trip and his stalking style fits the field. Obvious win candidate is the probable heavy favorite and would be no surprise.
3rd pick: #3 (Maui Mark) (15-1) - Cal.-bred has done well 5-for-9 when racing on conventional dirt and is working nicely for his first race since early July when he finished second at this level sprinting on the Belmont grass. Can factor here at a big price.
4th pick: #1 (Caixa Electronica) (2-1) - He's 2-for-2 over the past year when racing in something other than stakes and has as many wins at this distance (8) as the rest of the field combined. However, he draws a tough post at this trip and will need to rally from well back today for any chance at the top prize. He'll also be over-bet a bit.
