Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (PAPA'S MISSILE) (4-1) - Speedy filly tired late after setting a quick and pressured pace here at this level going 6.5 furlongs July 28. It was only her second back following 11 months on the sidelines and it was a positive effort. She breaks just of the rail and her early speed gives her an edge.
2nd pick: #6 (Bee Noteworthy) (3-1) - Very lightly-raced 4-year-old drops down in class and is racing second back from a 16 month layoff. She tired here facing tougher July 24 in her return to action in a contest she may ave needed badly. Trainer Jim Bond has won three times at the meet and has Jose Ortiz replacing Eric Cancel.
3rd pick: #5 (Ragazza Piu' Bella) (5-1) - Even-paced filly has finished close up in three straight starts at this level. She was 2.5 lengths in front of 'Papa's Missile' last out but that filly did most of he dirty work before weakening. Stretch threat.
4th pick: #4 (Phocea) (7-2) - Four-year-old rallied from far back to pass both 'Papa's Missile' and 'Ragazza Piu Bella' last out. She's been competitive in on half of her dirt starts and should be closing fast again in this spot.
