Top pick: #5 (THE SIXTIES) (2-1) - English-bred was claimed on April 19th at Keeneland by Mike Maker for $10K and was an easy winner 70 days later at Churchill in his first for the new barn. 3-year-old is training fine for this and can take this despite "doubling" up in price.

2nd pick: #6 (Where's Danny) (3-1) - Irish-import was a come-from-behind maiden winner here on July 24th racing for a $35K tah in a contest that was switched "off the turf." Nice effort came in his second off an eight month layoff and 4-year-old is a win candidate right back.

3rd pick: #7 (Rubysandpearls) (5-2) - Stakes winner is the main speed of this party, but comes into this off a very poor effort at Belmont on June 12th. Claimed that day by Jay Servis for $35K, new barn is great off the claim (31%), as they drop this runner well under the purchase price. There are some red flags, but gelding must be left in the three-horse win mix.

4th pick: #3 (Hamme Dancer) (20-1) - Not a win candidate, but he comes off an even effort here on July 28th and could grab a minor award at a big price.
