Top pick: #5 (STINKING CREEK) - Has the best early speed of this group and comes here from Churchill where he was an easy "winner" on May 26, but was disqualified for not keeping a straight course during the stretch run. Last out he was beaten a nose at the same track and this colt by "Tapit" can give trainer Mike Maker his 2nd winner at the meet.
2nd pick: #1 (Mr. Haywood) - Colt has the rail, some early speed, and the Zito barn will drop him into a claimer for the first time. Son of "Smarty Jones" should be involved from start to finish.
3rd pick: #6 (Volition) - He had some promise back in the fall of 2009, but has only run twice since Nov. of that year. Training fine for John Kimmel and looks next best in this field.
