Top pick: #2 (ROCK AMERICA) - He's slready proven competitive vs. tougher and will be dropping into a claimer for the first time. Has good positional speed, draws the inside post, and is working sharply for Bill Mott (who won race No. 4,000 yesterday).
2nd pick: #9 (Almooriq) - $500,000 gelding by "Ghostzapper" hasn't raced since showing some speed in his debut last Sept. at Belmont. Working well for a barn (Kiaram McLaughlin) that's been quiet here so far. May do well at a square price.
3rd pick: #5 (Tiz a Theme) - Stretches-out and will be trying the grass for the first time. Bred to handle the turf he has good early speed and gets the addition of blinkers for this.
