Top pick: #1 (APEX) (2-1) - Beautifully bred 3-year-old tired here on July 20th when going 7 furlongs at this level in his first a 100 day freshening. Nice to see Bill Mott bring him back on short notice and he'll cut him back a furlong and drop him into a claimer for the first time. Gelding by "Dynaformer" can take this from his inside post.
2nd pick: #6 (Political Farce) (3-1) - Grey gelding finished second at level and distance at Belmont on June 19th in his first off a Rudy Rodriguez claim. He's worked him twice since and speed/stalker draws outside of the other pace.
3rd pick: #5 (Perfect Danger) (3-1) - Very fast from the gate, he's been tiring facing tougher special weight foes and will be dropping into a claimer for the first time. Colt should be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #3 (Let's Have One) (5-1) - Well-bred colt has needed time off after all three starts and runs this afternoon for the first time since March 14th at Oaklawn Park. Working nicely and a threat if ready with his best.
