Top pick: #9 (KEENELAND BREEZE) - Son of "A.P. Indy" cost a cool $1,500,000 last year as a yearling and has been working here since early June. Looks well prepared by a good first-out barn (Kiaran McLaughlin 17%) and his main-rider (Alan Garcia) is aboard. The top pick.
nd pick: #10 (Callide Valley) - Colt by "Indian Charlie" showed good speed in his debut before tiring during the stretch run. Has a "bullet" drill on September 1 and he draws a nice post for this seven-furlong distance. Can impact at a square price.
rd pick: #11 (Westshore) - Capable mid-west trainer (Jim Baker) sends out this colt by "Saint Liam" and the works indicate that they've been asking more of him as he nears this debut. Could offer a very nice price in the same race exotics.
th pick: #6 (Devonshire) - Gelding rallied from far back here to finish fpurth on July 29 going 5.5 furlongs. He's worked fast twice at Finger Lakes and this seven-furlong race may have been cagey trainer's (Karl Grusmark's) intended target. Rider Omar Camejo makes the trip from western New York again.
th pick: #3 (In Just We Trust) - Colt broke slow and raced wide in his debut. Three fine works since and the extra 1.5 furlongs should play in his favor.
