Claimed that afternoon by Jeremiah Englehart, he drops him well under the claimed level and shortens him up in distance. Prior to his latest, 3-year-old had finished second in four of six and did so at this 6.5-furlong trip facing tougher last September. Dangerous today.
3rd pick: #6 (The Chamo) (6-1) - Colt has been competitive in six straight without ever threatening to win. Speed/stalker runs off a private trainer switch to Gary Contessa and he had this 3-year-old work a bullet 3 furlongs here July 21.

Claimed that day by Michelle Nevin, she's worked him four times since and is adding blinkers. It's noted that John Velazquez is aboard and he's won with 9-of-36 (25%) when teamed up with Nevin over the past 18.5 months.
