Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (MIKE'S GIRL) (7-2) - A speedy daughter of 'Scat Daddy', she's been competitive in three straight grass sprints at Belmont since returning from a bit more that five month layoff May 2. She missed by a 'nose' last out going 6 furlongs at this level and I give her a very slight edge.
2nd pick: #5 (Linda's Ballet) (5-2) - A lightly raced 3yo, she moves back to the grass after a poor effort following a stumbling start in an 'off the turf' contest June 19 at Belmont. Very sharp in her previous pair going 7 furlongs on the grass facing tougher, trainer Linda Rice drops her into a claimer (a 27% winning angle from the barn) and is shortening her up in distance. Home bred is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Prisoner's Dilemma) (3-1) - A lightly raced 4yo filly by 'Blame', she tired last out after having some traffic issues to check in 6th of 10, beaten 8 lengths going 6 furlongs facing tougher June 7. She had missed by a 'neck' April 10 at Aqueduct under similar conditions and has been bet heavily in all three attempts. She must be left in the win mix.
4th pick: #9 (Mz Seb Pat) (6-1) - Improving filly has finished second in two straight at Belmont since dropping down to this level. Stretch runner retains Irad Ortiz Jr and a fast/and or contested pace would help her chances.
