2nd pick: #7 (Iron Power) (9-2) - Hard-hitting veteran is racing first off a Rudy Rodriguez claim (a strong 34% winning angle). Veteran gelding rallied strongly to miss by a 'neck' here going 8.5 furlongs for a $40,000 tag the day he changed barns (Aug. 2). He's worked three times since, moves up un class, and is stretching out in distance.
3rd pick: #8 (Tasit) (4-1) - NEW gelding rallied to finish third here at this level and distance July 29. He was only a bit more than a length behind 'Call Provision' and and has raced himself back into shape since coming off a year's layoff April 15.
4th pick: #5 (Roman Approval) (6-1) - Another old-timer, he's racing first off a Tom Morley claim and first since July 8. Six-year-old has excellent early speed and is very dangerous if left alone on the lead in the early stages.
