He raced evenly earlier this year in both starts at Gulfstream Park and had excuses in each. 3yo by 'Ghostzapper' is working fast and frequently here, and I almost made him the top selection.
3rd pick: #1 (Asdaaf) (7-2) - Barn (Kiaran McLaughlin) is having a solid meet (7 for 23, 30%), and had a debuting winner on yesterday's card. This son of 'Medaglia d'Oro' is working steadily for his first appearance, has the rail, and leading rider Irad Ortiz, Jr. is aboard.
4th pick: #8 (Pennyforyourthoughts) (5-1) - Grey gelding ships up from Laurel where he missed by a head when debuting in an 'off the turf' sprint for a $40K tag July 22. Working fast since, he moves up in class, has blinkers on, and Jose Ortiz takes the mount.
