Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #9 (BASE COMMAND) (3-1) - Son of 'Tiznow' cost $500,000 last September at the Keeneland Yearling Sales. Well backed when debuting at Belmont going 5.5 furlongs July 8, he rallied strongly up the rail to finish second, beaten just under a length. Training fast here, trainer Mark Hennig stretches him out to seven furlongs, he draws a fine outside post, and Javier Castellano stays aboard. Gets a slight edge.

2nd pick: #2 (Airtouch) (5-2) - One of three sons of top sire 'Tapit' entered, this debuting colt cost $450,000 a year ago. In the barn of Todd Pletcher (23% first out), he's working well above average and John Velazquez is signed on.

3rd pick: #3 (Get the Facts) (8-1) - Another of the 'Tapits,' he debuted here at this level going 5.5 furlongs July 22. Home bred 'hit the gate' at break, then raced both wide and greenly once in stride. He's worked fast since for a 19% second out trainer (Mark Casse).

4th pick: #8 (Indimaaj) (6-1) - The third son of 'Tapit' entered, he's a debuting home bred from the high quality Shadwell Stable. Training steadily here and at the owners private facility about a mile from the track, trainer Kiaran McLaughlin is having a solid meet at 8-for-32 (25%).
