2nd pick: #3 (Haul Anchor) (2-1) - Broman home bred finished a solid 2nd when debuting at this level July 10 at Belmont. Colt by 'Bernardini' was bet down to 6-5 favoritism and worked fast here July 30. A very strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Bartleby) (8-1) - Son of 'Lemon Drop Kid' raced evenly when debuting July 10 at Belmont in the same race as 'Haul Anchor.' He was five lengths behind that rival, but is capable of getting a share of this at a big price with normal second out improvement.
4th pick: #6 (Pat On the Back) (12-1) - Colt has a pair of very sharp local works on view after being prepared at Belmont Park by veteran Ken McPeek. With the low profile and Dyland Davis aboard, the odds will be big. May grab a share, but race drew a good group.
