Top pick: #4 (LITTLE NICK) - Very speed veteran has a fine overall record in abbreviated grass sprints (17-6-5-3). He had a strong effort here early in the meet when he set a fast and pressured pace and held to finish second. race was his first in seven weeks and he looks all set this afternoon.
2nd pick: #3 (Jess Not Jesse) - Very lightly-raced 6-year-old hasn't raced since last October when he was an easy winner at Belmont racing for $16K. He's run well off of long layoffs in the past and most came against better fields than this.
3rd pick: #6 (Saints Alive) - Speedy gelding just missed at this level and distance July 7th at Belmont in his best race since October.
