Top pick: #5 (KETEL TWIST) (5-2) - One of three entered who have started, and she rallied to finish second when debuting at Belmont July 4th, sprinting at this level. She's since come back with a bullet half-mile work at Belmont, and "Hall of Famer" Bill Mott will stretch her out in distance.
2nd pick: #3 (Acquant) (7-2) - Home-bred filly by "Giant's Causeway" exits the same contest as "Ketel" and raced evenly while wide, beaten three lengths by that rival. She's worked well since, stretches out, and has lasix added.
3rd pick: #1 (Dance Tap) (4-1) - One of two debuting fillies from the barn of Todd Pletcher, and they race uncoupled. Grey daughter of "Tapit" cost $300K last Sep., and has been in steady training here since late May. She has the rail and will be the higher price of the two.
4th pick: #6 (Fierce Boots) (3-1) - The second of the Pletcher fillies, daughter of "Tiznow" is working fast locally, and his main rider (John Velazquez) is aboard this $200K yearling purchase.
