Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (FUSI) (5-2) - This lightly raced filly has finished 3rd in both starts. The latest came at this tag when she rallied while wide to miss by just under two lengths going six furlongs June 26 at Belmont Park. Claimed that day by Brad Cox, he's won with 12 of 47 (26%) fresh off that move in 2018-19. He's breezed her twice locally, and Joel Rosario is aboard for this attempt.
nd pick: #3 (Traci's Girl) (8-1) - Speedy 3yo moves back to the grass after tiring badly in an 'off the turf' contest at this level June 13 at Belmont. It was her second back from almost a 5.5-month layoff, and she catches a field where her speed is an advantage. The presence of leading rider Luis Saez suggests that the barn likes her chanches.
rd pick: #10 (Youth Gone Wild) (12-1) - This mare has made 23 starts, but is capable of getting a share at a big price, which she's done in six of 18 attempts on the grass.
th pick: #4 (Abby Normal) (6-1) - A daughter of 'Birdstone', she missed by less than a length at this level sprinting on the Belmont turf June 23. It was a career best overall and 3yo followed that up with an even 4th place finish here in an 'off the turf'contest July 12. She must be left in the mix.
th pick: #8 (Taniell's Candy) (8-1) - She picked up a minor award when debuting at this level in a sprint April 17 at Aqueduct. However, the figure earned was small, and she raced evenly in her follow up in an 'off the turf' contest June 13 at Belmont. Back on the grass, she may get a share, but needs to step it up quite a bit for anything more that that.
