Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (GLOBAL CAMPAIGN) (7-2) - A very lightly raced son of 'Curlin', he's working fast here for his first since an impressive win in Belmont's Peter Pan Stakes (G3) at this distance May 11. His stalking style fits beautifully with this group and I give him a slight edge.
2nd pick: #5 (Tacitus) (2-1) - This Juddmonte home bred by 'Tapit' would have won the Belmont Stakes by a daylight margin if he had a better trip. Extremely wide through-out, he missed by a length that afternoon. Trainer Bill Mott, 7-for-22 (32%) so far at this highly competitive meet, has breezed him her four times since June 28 and this strong finisher is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Tax) (10-1) - Longshot finished a solid fourth in the Belmont Stakes (G1) and was a bit over two lengths behind the wide 'Tacitus' that afternoon. He had finished 2nd to him in the Wood Memorial (G1) at this distance April 6 at Aqueduct, is working very fast here, and think he'll be involved from start-to-finish at a big price.
4th pick: #6 (War of Will) (5-2) - He made appearances in all three Triple Crown races and won the Preakness (G1) May 18. Colt did not receive a good ride in the Belmont Stakes and will need a return to his Pimlico form to have a shot at winning this.
