Top pick: #6 (ZINDAYA) (3-1) - One of a pair entered by trainer Chris Clement and the two fillies race uncoupled. Daughter of "More Than Ready" has gone 3-0-2-1 all in grass sprints and missed by a "neck" when debuting here a year ago. Working nicely she's racing off a 6 1/2 month break and can take this if ready.
nd pick: #8 (Braided ) (4-1) - Speedy filly has a recency edge on "Zindaya" as she finished a pace-setting second here at this level and distance July 24th. Solid effort came off a half-year's absence and Darley home-bred is a strong win candidate.
rd pick: #10 (Miadora) (10-1) - The second of the Clement fillies, she's cutting back a bit in distance for her first since July 3rd. $200K daughter of "Ghostzapper" was competive in her latest and did so despite some trouble at the break. Price play.
th pick: #1 (Galroyale) (6-1) - No-speed type rallied strongly to finish third when here going a mile for a $65K tag July 23rd. Claimed that day by Linda Rice (16%), she moves her up in class and cuts her back to a sprint. The faster the pace, the better her prospects.
th pick: #5 (D'Kennesaw Cat) (8-1) - Speedy filly exits the same July 24th race as "Braided" and was only a 1/2 length back of that rival at the finish. Both turf sprints have been competitive and she should be involved turning for home.
