2nd pick: #1 (Forensic) (7-2) - Long time maiden lost her rider at Belmont July 16. She's worked fine since and daughter of 'Medaglia d'Oro' had been competitive in six of nine previous starts on the grass. Many have come against better groups than this and she's a win candidate in today's finale.
3rd pick: #10 (My Senses) (4-1) - Lightly-raced filly hasn't raced since late October. Training steadily at Fair Hill, trainer Graham Motion wins at a 23% rate off of long layoffs and he adds Lasix (28%). A threat if ready.
4th pick: #8 (Aimone) (10-1) - Stretch out sprinter raced evenly following a troubled break when going 6-furlongs on the dirt here Aug 5. It was her first start in 12 1/2 months and she's worked fast on the grass since. Bred for the surface, $210K daughter of 'Lemon Drop Kid' is a 'live' long shot.
