Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (IDAHO) (3-1) - Irish bred has kept top company since coming to the races in Oct. of 2015. He's a Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed and has earned just over $1M. In the international barn of trainer Aidan O'Brien, he won the Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes at Ascot June 24, then finished third there in the Group 1 King George Stakes a month later. Ryan Moore is in for the mount and this 4-year-old son of 'Galileo' will be tough if he brings his form with him.
2nd pick: #5 (Money Multiplier) (7-2) - He's the type that can 'run all day' and ships from Monmouth where he won a G2 stakes going nine furlongs July 30. It was his first start since Nov. 5 when he ran both evenly and greenly in the Breeders' Cup Turf (G1) at Santa Anita. He finished second here in this stakes a year ago and should factor today.
3rd pick: #6 (Erupt) (4-1) - Another Irish bred, he's been in England, France, Canada, and Japan all in the past year. He won the Canadian International (G1) at Woodbine at this distance last October and is a threat with his 'A' game.
4th pick: #2 (Bigger Picture) (8-1) - Hard hitter has been competitive in all five start this year. Latest saw him miss by a 'neck' here July 29 in the G2 Bowling Green Stakes and he's been sharp in all three previous attempts at this 12 furlong distance. Capable of getting a share at a big price.
